TEMPESTER (テンペスター TENPESUTĀ) IS A DEMON OF THE TARTAROS BLACK GUILD AND A MEMBER OF THE DOOR GROUP OF THE NINE DEMONS.
APPARENCE
Tempester presents himself as an imposing, muscular demon. His face is partially concealed beneath a hood, revealing only his dark muzzle, thin lips and a full beard that surrounds his jaw. His loose hair extends to his neck, partially covering his cheekbones. When the upper part of his face is visible, a series of oval eyes can be seen, while several strands of thick hair fall over his forehead.
Tempester wears a slightly low-cut outfit, exposing her chest and belly. The border of her cape is adorned with a lighter, more intricate pattern that extends from the edges, with the tip of the hood curving upwards. The upper cape is attached by two small cords in front of his neck. Beneath this first cape, we can see an identical cape covering his shoulders and hips, also open. Further down, Tempester wears thick pants with two fleece kneepads, and heavy boots with cords attached to the sides.
After his defeat at the hands of Fairy Tail’s Luxus and resurrection in the Underworld Core, he now appears as a handsome, dark-skinned man with neck-length hair and muscular arms and chest. He also wears sharp fingernails and small scale-like blades on each hand. With his resurrection, he has adopted a new style of dress. Tempester now wears a black sleeveless shirt with black scale-like highlights and a short tie. He also wears matching suspenders tied around his forearms, and black pants and shoes.
As a demon, Tempester has the ability to transform at will into a larger, more menacing version of himself, similar to his previous appearance. His hair becomes much longer and wilder, standing up in different directions, and he develops a beard, a dark muzzle and larger, sharper teeth. PERSONALITY
Although Tempester’s personality remains shrouded in mystery, he comes across as calm, responsive and cool. For example, when ambushing Yajima, he acts swiftly and eradicates his target without uttering a word, concentrating solely on Yajima, even in the presence of three powerful mages nearby.
CALEDICTION AND ABILITIES
Curse of Calamity: Tempester’s innate curse centers on the use of calamities and natural disasters, primarily the creation of devastating tornadoes that surround his body and limbs. A single tornado is powerful enough to demolish Yajima’s restaurant in seconds and reach incredible heights. Tempester can also use his curse to move quickly by enveloping desired parts of his body in an extremely fast wind, capable of destroying everything in its path, giving him increased speed and defense. He has survived unscathed two direct lightning attacks by Fairy Tail’s S-class mage Luxus Draer. Tempester is also capable of creating storms of fire and thunder.
Cyclone (ヒュル Hyuru): Tempester generates a powerful tornado that ravages everything in its path, including the ground and stone buildings. He can also cover himself with this tornado to increase his speed and physical abilities.
Impact (どどん Dodon): By placing a hand on an opponent, Tempester can throw him violently and immobilize him. He can also create an earthquake with a swift hand gesture, usually an open hand thrust forward, leaving his victims in shock.
Inferno (ボッ Boh) : When the opponent is at close range, Tempester can generate huge flames from his body, powerful enough to send former Magic Council member Yajima flying for several meters and leave him gasping for breath. Alternatively, Tempester can exhale a massive amount of flame that instantly blankets the battlefield, scorching everything in its path.
Thunderbolt (ゴロロン Gororon) : Raising his arm in a throw-like motion, Tempester can trap an opponent in a sphere before sending a bolt of lightning at him.
Coulée: Tempester causes the target to sink into the ground, as if it were turning into quicksand.
Deluvian rain: Tempester generates a torrential downpour that rains down on the target. It’s powerful enough to extinguish Natsu’s fire.
Magical barrier particles (魔障粒子 Mashōryūshi): Tempester is able to explode his body, transforming it into a thick black mist. Particles of this mist can damage ethernano in the atmosphere and cause magical impairment and disease, particularly in mages. When he used this ability, he caused the death of over 100 victims, including non-mage individuals.
Demonic Form (エーテリアス フォーム Ēteriasu Fōmu): Like other members of his race, Tempester is able to assume his true form: the Demonic Form.
Endurance: In this form, Tempester becomes surprisingly resilient, able to withstand powerful attacks. He took a lightning-reinforced kick from Luxus without suffering any visible damage, and withstood a fire-reinforced attack from Natsu before immediately counterattacking.
Magical barrier particles: After his transformation, Tempester’s forearms and lower half are covered in a dark mist composed of magical barrier particles.
Enhanced strength: After his transformation into a more humanoid form, Tempester demonstrated considerable physical strength, capable of shattering solid stone with a single punch, creating an explosion of debris around the point of impact. Whether this strength was inherited from his previous form or the result of his time in the Underworld Core is unknown.
Expert in close combat: Although he prefers to use his devastating spells from a distance, Tempester is equally proficient in hand-to-hand combat. He managed to parry a powerful kick from Natsu with his bare hands and exchange blows with him on equal terms. By exploiting the aerial properties of his curse, he’s able to close quickly on his opponents and hit them with swirling attacks.
Regenerative healing factor: Tempester’s body is constantly fueled by a small amount of curse power from Mard Geer, which accelerates his natural healing process.
