LAHAR (ラハル RAHARU) WAS THE LEADER OF THE MAGIC COUNCIL’S REFORMED FIGHTING UNIT.
APPARENCE
Lahar is a slim, medium-sized man with long black hair tied back. He has two locks of hair framing his face and a messy tuft on his forehead. His lavender eyes are always visible through his round-rimmed glasses. After a period of seven years, his appearance has remained virtually the same, with just a slight haircut as the only real difference.
He wears the distinctive uniform of a senior Council member, consisting of a long blue jacket with pink edges and cuffs decorated with straps. His high-collared shirt features the Council’s peg-like symbol. Lahar also wears white pants held up by a simple belt, white gloves, a white cape fastened by a gem-adorned buckle and unique shoes with a snake motif.
PERSONALITY
Lahar is strict, determined and unbending in his convictions. He takes his job very seriously and considers anyone who has committed a crime to be a criminal deserving of justice, regardless of any positive actions they may have taken.
Despite his rigid personality, Lahar allowed Jellal Fernandes to say goodbye to his comrades, even encouraging him to express whatever he had to say, knowing that Jellal was facing a harsh sentence. Lahar took no action to stop them when the Runic Knights attacked, after Erza Scarlett had taken full responsibility for the deed. What’s more, he showed great concern for his comrades injured in the explosion of the Council ship, ordering that they be cared for before repairing the ship’s facilities.
HISTORY
Before the arrest of Jellal Fernandes and the conflict on Tenrou Island, Lahar shared a meal with Mest, who claimed to be called Dranbalt. During the meal, Lahar listened to Dranbalt’s plan to infiltrate Fairy Tail by posing as a member named “Mest”, in order to uncover compromising information and obtain a promotion. Lahar was unaware that Dranbalt was actually Mest himself, having altered his own memories to make himself believe he was Dranbalt. Lahar found this strategy very clever, until Dranbalt awkwardly bit his head off.
MAGIC AND CAPABILITIES
Rune magic (術式 Jutsu Shiki): Little is known about Lahar’s mastery of this magic, but he was able to create a solid barrier around allied forces to prevent them from escaping. 🔥THE PRODUCTS OF THE MOMENT🔥
