APPARENCE: WHAT DOES HIT LOOK LIKE?
Universe 6’s famed hitman is a rather tall and muscular humanoid. He has flat ears, purple skin, a bald head and red eyes. There’s a slight resemblance to characters from Freezer and Frost’s race. His face is marked by several lines that delimit light and dark areas. He generally sports an impassive facial expression. 🤔
Hit wears a dark jumpsuit as well as elbow, knee and wrist protectors. He also sports a belt adorned with a gold buckle. For his lower body, he dons dark turquoise pants and purple boots.
HIT’S PERSONALITY
Hit stands out for his stoic, calm and serious character. He never lets the slightest emotion show, and seems indifferent in all circumstances.
Endowed with advanced expertise, he possesses unshakeable confidence and great determination in the face of any challenge that comes his way. He is aware of his formidable attacking capabilities. His attitude is pragmatic, speaking only when necessary and getting straight to the point. 😐
Hit completes his contracts with impeccable precision. It’s impossible for his targets to escape him. He takes his profession seriously and is incorruptible. 💰
He never backs down from a challenge or difficulty. He prefers to face his adversaries head-on. If we were to cite the rare moments when Hit seems intimidated, it would be during the tournament against Universe 7, when Champa threatens him with destruction after his defeat. However, he remains determined to face the god, knowing he has nothing to lose. Another example is his fight against Jiren, where the latter blocks his attack solely with his gaze. 👽
Hit is antisocial by nature and cares little for social conventions. He is surprised when Goku bows respectfully to him. He is shrewd, intuitive and has excellent vision of events.
It should be remembered that he is first and foremost an assassin. However, he is trustworthy and extremely honorable. For example, if he doesn’t have to kill someone, he may grant clemency. Sometimes, he even offers to surrender. At the Tournament of Power, he shows fairness and support by saving Caulifla from elimination. 👍
A warrior at heart, Hit represents a real challenge for Son Goku. The fight between the two is of an exceptional level, and Hit shows his respect for the Saiyan. In the manga, they part by shaking hands at the end of the tournament.
During a mission, if his opponent proves to be very talented, Hit adjusts his temperament and gives free rein to his warrior spirit, to fully savor the competition. He’s proud and powerful, and firmly believes that skill and tactics are the keys to victory. If he makes a mistake, he doesn’t hesitate to admit it. In the manga, he realizes that using the same fighting technique over and over again isn’t very clever, and prefers to get back to basics. 👌
At the Tournament of Power, he seems genuinely indifferent to most of the other fighters. However, he smiles when Kefla hits Goku and gets the better of him. Even as a spectator, he enjoys high-level fights.
He hates to see anyone manipulated or treated as a mere pawn. He may sometimes try to save his target if he feels they deserve it. This is particularly true of his confrontation with Goku. After this encounter, he shows great respect for the Saiyan, as the latter persists and improves every time to face him with flying colors. What’s more, he smiles when he learns that Goku is behind his own death contract. Following this episode, he gladly accepts to fight again in the near future. 👊
BIOGRAPHY: THE FULL HISTORY OF HIT
Hit was born over 1000 years ago, making him a long-time assassin. He has a well-established reputation in the business and never misses his target. He systematically eliminates his prey in a single blow. 💀
The Epopee of the Universe 6.
Hit has been chosen by Vados to join the warriors representing her universe. Here’s the background: universes 6 and 7 will face off in a martial arts tournament. The prize is the use of Super Dragon Ball. On the day of the competition, he travels to the planet with his companions, Cabba, Frost, Botamo and Auta Magetta. Hit passes the written exam required to take part in the tournament. During the fights, Hit remains impassive, arms crossed. During the fight between Goku and Frost, Kakarot transforms into a Super Saiyan and Hit briefly opens his eyes before closing them again. He continues in this way in subsequent matches. 😴
During the fight between Vegeta and Cabba, he briefly opens his eyes a second time. After this confrontation, he becomes the last fighter of Universe 6 and enters the arena. Facing Vegeta, he mainly targets vital parts using his time jump. Everyone is surprised, and no one is able to understand his technique. Hit suggests that Vegeta surrender, but he refuses and the fight continues. However, Hit easily overcomes the Prince of the Saiyans. He must now face Goku to finish the competition. 💪
Goku announces that he prefers to avoid transforming immediately. The fight begins and Hit gains the advantage thanks to his fighting strategy. However, Goku manages to block one of his attacks and counterattacks. This is repeated and Hit begins to struggle. Clearly, Goku has figured out how to fight him. Hit’s time jump lasts a tenth of a second, and Goku anticipates Hit’s attacks. ⌛
Hit then realizes that he must fight seriously. Goku transforms into a Blue Super Saiyan and gains the upper hand in terms of power. Hit also uses all his power, but it’s not enough. Goku’s Kaioken form throws the fight off balance. The Saiyan easily gains the upper hand and eliminates Hit from the tournament, handing victory to his universe. 🥇
BEFORE THE SURVIVAL TOURNAMENT.
Before the start of the Universe Survival Tournament, Goku is hunted down by Hit. Indeed, the hitman has been paid a bounty to eliminate Goku. After eliminating a prey, he travels to Earth to complete his mission. 💀
Hit comes across Goku in the desert and uses a fearsome technique to strike him violently in the heart. Goku collapses unconscious. Thinking his target eliminated, Hit moves away. However, Kakarot had anticipated the attack and projected energy like a boomerang. It returns to him and brings him back to consciousness. This action allows him to analyze Hit’s technique and avoid being fooled a second time. 👍
Hit returns to challenge him and a tough fight begins. Goku is deeply disturbed by his opponent’s new temporal technique. Hit creates an illusion as he moves through time. Goku suffers several attacks and has to get used to his opponent for a while. The battle goes on and on, and the two fighters are unable to break the tie. Seeing the influx of spectators, including Champa, Vados, Whis and Beerus, Hit decides to end the fight and offers Goku a rematch at a later date. Later, he learns that it was Son Goku, with the complicity of Whis and Vados, who orchestrated his own assassination attempt for the sole purpose of facing Hit again.
After that, Hit returns to his universe 6 and the time for the ultimate tournament approaches…
UNIVERSE SURVIVAL TOURNAMENT.
Hit tracks down the fighter Frost from his universe in order to recruit him. After easily overpowering him, he explains that if he takes part in the tournament, he’ll be forgiven by Champa. 👍
Once in the arena, Hit chats briefly with Goku. He tells him that he’s much stronger than the first time and that he won’t be defeated in the same way.
As soon as the fight begins, Hit destroys Narirama’s arm. Later, when Universe 9 is annihilated, Hit plans to face Vegeta, but Botamo takes the lead. Hit then eliminates Narirama with a single blow thanks to a time jump. When Jiren incapacitates Legendary Super Saiyan Kale, Hit decides to cover the retreat of the two female Saiyans. Goku steps in to challenge Jiren, and Hit tells Caulifla to stay away with Kale.

Later, Hit is confronted by Universe 11’s Dyspo. Pride Troopers possess extreme speed and ultra-developed hearing, enabling them to counter time jumps. As a result, they give Hit a hard time at the start of the battle. It takes a few minutes for the hitman to implement a counter-strategy. From now on, he feigns time jumps. Hit throws Dyspo towards the exit, but another Pride Trooper, K’nsi, manages to save his comrade. 😮
Shortly afterwards, Jiren confronts Hit in an attempt to eliminate the tournament’s two greatest threats: Goku and Hit. The duel between the two fighters begins, and Hit soon finds himself in a weak position. Jiren inflicts blows of rare violence, and the time jump seems ineffective. Indeed, Jiren possesses such immense raw power that he manages to anticipate this technique with no problem. 💪
Faced with this situation, Hit changes strategy and manages to trap Jiren in a time ball. This effectively paralyzes Jiren, and Hit tries to push him out of the ring in this state. He holds Jiren captive for several minutes. However, Jiren’s power is so great that it becomes increasingly difficult to hold him in this trap. Hit expends a lot of energy to keep him under control. Finally, Jiren breaks free from his prison and decides to finish off the champion of Universe 6. Despite his exhaustion, Jiren quickly eliminates Hit from the ring. 👎
After this, Hit plays the role of spectator for the rest of the tournament. He carefully observes the fight between Kefla and Goku. Once the last two Universe 6 fighters are in the ring, Hit is erased in accordance with tournament rules. We’ll have to wait for the final wish to bring him back to life. ✨
HOW POWERFUL IS HIT?
Hit is the champion and captain of Universe 6, ruled by the God Champa. Indeed, he is the most powerful warrior in his universe when he competes in the Tournament of Power. In the anime, even when Kale transforms into the Legendary Super Saiyan, Hit is still considered the reigning champion in terms of power. 🔥
Hit has a fighting style all his own. He doesn’t use ki very much, preferring to concentrate on hand-to-hand and other forms of close combat. He wears a long outfit and often keeps his hands in his pockets, enabling him to conceal his movements. When in a position of restraint, he systematically adopts a simple, effective fighting stance. When he becomes more serious, he begins to use his time-control abilities. He also delivers very precise blows aimed at vital points. He excels in the use of deadly techniques and possesses an in-depth knowledge of the human body’s weaknesses. 💀
During the tournament between the two universes, Hit seems neither perturbed nor impressed by the most powerful warriors present. You could even say he’s being nonchalant. Vegeta’s Super Saiyan Blue form begins to shake him out of his initial lethargy. When he takes on the Prince of the Saiyans, he wins without too much effort, as his opponent ignores his time-jumping techniques.
In his fight against Goku, things take a different turn, as the Saiyan manages to adapt more and more quickly to Hit’s time leap. This forces Hit to put up a serious fight. When Goku transforms into the Divine Super Saiyan, Hit’s time jump becomes increasingly complicated by the power of his opponent. Hit is forced to use his full power (for around a minute) to continue competing. However, the Kaioken mode overtakes Hit, who is no longer able to maintain the pace. 👎
Faced with a superior opponent such as Goku, Hit must rely on the speed of his time jump, as he is outmatched in terms of raw power. He improves his technique over the course of the fight to reach half-second speed. After his defeat, he fears the reaction of Champa, who plans to destroy him. Fortunately, the arrival of King Zeno averted the worst.

After this first appearance, Hit reappears later. He works as a hitman and carries out his missions with disconcerting ease, whatever the situation. When tracking down Son Goku, he uses the “Phoenix Eye Fist” technique. However, Son Goku had anticipated this attack and used his own energy to regenerate and adapt to Hit. In their second confrontation, Hit gains the upper hand using a new technique: the Tides of Time. The champion of Universe 6 proves far more difficult to face than in the first tournament. The fight against Goku Blue ends in a tie. 👍
Then, in the Survival of the Universe saga, Hit initially keeps a low profile. He breaks Narirama’s arm effortlessly. When he spots Jiren, he prefers to avoid him initially, understanding that this character is a disturbing power and won’t be easy to defeat.
One of his most important battles is against Universe 11’s Dyspo. The warrior from Universe 11 is able to counter Hit’s time jump thanks to his keen sense of hearing and extreme speed. He perceives Hit’s slightest muscular movements. When Hit stops using his powers, he begins to adapt to Dyspo’s style and becomes increasingly problematic. Toppo points this out, claiming that Hit is studying his fighting style. Once he has adapted perfectly to Dyspo, the roles begin to reverse. Hit even pretends to use time jumps to confuse the purple rabbit. So it’s hard to know when he’s actually doing one or not. From then on, he easily triumphs over Dyspo 😀
In the anime, Jiren is virtually invincible due to his immense power. Even the phoenix eye fist technique proves ineffective against him. However, Hit manages to block some of Jiren’s attacks and adapt to his fighting style. He even manages to throw him against a cliff, although this proves completely ineffective. Hit’s most effective technique is to trap Jiren in a temporal cage. He manages to keep the Universe 11 champion motionless in the cage for a short time. Jiren finally manages to free himself using his raw power, but this requires considerable effort. Initially, Hit was looking to eliminate Jiren, but in the end it’s Jiren who puts him out of action quite easily. This action allows Jiren to eliminate one of the most powerful fighters in the tournament. 😱
HIT’S BEST FIGHTING TECHNIQUES
Hit is a unique warrior, possessing some very special fighting skills. As you’ve seen, they rely mainly on mastery of time and vital attacks. 🤛
Longevity: Despite his appearance, Hit is old, very old… It’s estimated that he’s over 1000 years old. Despite his advanced age, he remains at the peak of his powers.
Flight: Ability to take flight through the manipulation of ki.
Sense of ki: Like many other characters, Hit has the ability to sense the ki of other warriors. He can also detect that of the gods.
Vital attack: This is Hit’s most common attack. The hitman uses his phoenix eye fist to send an energy-charged attack to a vital point. This means that any enemy weaker than him is at high risk of instant death. Even against opponents such as Vegeta or Goku, he targets weak points. When he combines this attack with his time jump, he becomes extremely powerful.
Time jump: This ability allows him to play with time and teleport a tenth of a second ahead. During this time, he is free to move with ease to block an attack. Hit is also able to teleport to a parallel dimension, which is clearly demonstrated in his fight against Dyspo.
Lethal intent: Hit attacks by adopting a striking stance while concealing his hands in his pockets. He combines this technique with time jump.
Icy stare: Hit stares at his enemy and uses time jump to attack at the same time. His opponent has the impression that Hit is standing still. This technique can be seen during his attack against Frost.
Time jump/backbreaker: This attack is found in video games. The player turns around and delivers an attack.
Time-Skip/Molotov: This is Hit’s ultimate attack. He uses his time-skip to attack quickly, unleashing a veritable shower of punches.
Time Freeze: Similar to the time jump, but this time he freezes time around himself, allowing him to dodge almost any attack.
Smith’s Hammer: Hit brings his hands back to strike his opponent.
Time Mare: Present in the anime, Hit creates a personal dimension through his manipulation of time. He can bring opponents into it, trapping them. Outside, time flows normally.
Intangibility: Hit uses his creation of time dimensions to shield himself from his opponents’ attacks.
Time prison: Technique used against Jiren. Hit traps his enemy in a temporal cage. The victim is imprisoned in a dimension where time flows differently. This method is ideal for trapping tough opponents. However, a phenomenally powerful opponent can break free.
Time Shift: Present in the manga, Hit slows down time only for his opponent, decreasing his speed of attack and defense.
Survival in the void: Hit is able to remain in space without taking damage.
Powerful: Present in the manga, Hit reaches his maximum power, similar to that of a Divine Super Saiyan. However, he can’t hold this form for very long, about a minute.
Assassination techniques: Hit possesses a whole panoply of assassination techniques. He uses his experience as a hitman to adapt to suit the situation.
Ki clones: Hit is able to create clones using his ki, making him much harder to track down. This technique can be seen in the anime.
Lightning Fist Crush: This is a deadly variant of the time jump. Hit combines it with a warping technique similar to that of Phantom Fist. In the anime, Hit uses a similar lethal technique. The invisible energy he releases strikes his opponent violently at a vital point. This attack has the advantage of being very difficult to detect.
