EAVE TILM (イヴ・ティルム IVU TIRUMU), ALSO KNOWN AS EAVE OF HOLY NIGHT (聖夜のイヴ SEIYA NO IVU), IS ONE OF THE MAGES BELONGING TO THE BLUE PEGASUS GUILD TEAM. HE IS ALSO A MEMBER OF THE TRIMENS WITH REN AND HIBIKI.
APPARITION
Initially, Eave was depicted as a slim, rather short boy with blond hair cut in a bowl cut. He had a few rebellious locks covering his forehead and others protruding over the top of his head. His eyes were large and dark. Seven years later, Eave became a young man with more pronounced features and narrower eyes. His hairstyle also changed, becoming longer, looser and slightly messier.
At first, Eave wore a black suit with cross-shaped patterns on the sleeves and lower legs, outlined in a light color. The left shoulder of his suit bore the Blue Pegasus symbol. Under his suit, he wore a lilac shirt with a darker purple tie around his neck, and polished loafers. After the time jump, Eave adopted a more casual outfit. He now wears a short-sleeved shirt that he leaves open over navy-blue suit pants. His tie, covered in white and blue diagonal stripes, is tied around his neck. He’s also wearing brown leather shoes.
PERSONALITY
Eave, like his teammates, is a seducer and tries to win over (preferably older) women by using his boyish charm to his advantage. He has enormous respect for Ichiya, as do his team-mates, and immediately apologized to Erza when he got the wrong idea that she and Ichiya were in a relationship. By disrespecting her, he was also disrespecting Ichiya. Eave is also very polite and uses the appropriate honorifics when addressing his superiors.
Eave was once considered a genius. In the guild, everyone regarded him as the younger brother, which he appreciated as part of his charm. However, as he gets older, he worries about how long he’ll be able to keep this position. He has even considered suddenly changing his character to a more intellectual one, like Hibiki.
HISTORY
Originally, Eave was an apprentice training to become one of the Magic Council’s runic knights. However, with the dissolution of the Council, Eave found himself with nowhere to go. Unsure of what to do with his future, he recently joined Blue Pegasus and became a member of the Trimens team.
MAGIC AND CAPABILITIES
Snow Magic (雪魔法 Yuki Mahō): This is a type of Magic that allows Eave to produce and control snow. This Magic is powerful enough to transform Eave’s surroundings into a “world of pure white” in an instant. Thanks to his control over snow, he can generate snowballs or unleash avalanches against his enemies. However, users of Ice Magic or cold-resistant individuals may be immune to Snow Magic or more resistant to it than others. Eave can also combine his Magic with heavy magical ammunition, such as that found on Blue Pegasus’ Christina airship, to perform powerful attacks on a large scale.
White Blizzard: Using his Snow Magic, Eave can cause snowflakes to fall from the sky over a large area, drastically lowering the temperature of the area. This makes human opponents shiver while making their breath visible.
Blizzard: Eave has demonstrated his ability to generate and control blizzards. He moves them with hand gestures and uses the power of cold winds to strike multiple targets.
White Coat: Eave stretches his arm forward, invoking his magical seal and creating a great snowstorm around him. In his own words, this steals his enemies’ visibility and freezes them at the same time. Executing this technique covers everything in the targeted area in snow, including the enemies affected.
White Fury (ホワイト フュり Howaito Fyuri): Eave stretches his right arm forward, hand open, then places his left hand on his right forearm. This creates a medium-sized snowball which is generated from his right palm and projected towards the target. The snowball, initially small near Eave’s hand, grows larger as it moves away from him and towards the opponent. This spell can be quickly used in succession, even while Eave is on the move.
White crook (ホワイトファング Howaito Fangu): Eave swings both hands into claw position, invoking an offensive spell made of snow to attack the intended target. Eave used this attack in his fight against Rufus, but it was easily dodged.
Snow clone: Eave is able to create a snow clone in his own image. This clone can intercept an attack, distract the opponent and allow Eave to counterattack.
