And yes, women are also honored at Goku Shop! And to do so, who better than Bulma to express our new ultimate guide through this strong and emblematic Dragon Ball character! 👩🏻‍🔧

Bulma (ブルマBuruma) is a brilliant scientist. She is the second daughter of Capsule Corporation founder Dr. Brief and his wife Panchy, Tights’ younger sister, and is Goku’s first friend. She was Yamcha’s girlfriend, but eventually became Vegeta’s wife, and is the mother of Trunks and Bra.

Although she’s not actually able to fight like a warrior in the saga, her original inventions and innovative gadgets play a key role in the victory of several landmark moments as well as in the search for the Dragon Balls. 🔮

Bulma is one of the most prominent female characters in Dragon Ball, even before Chi Chi. Aside from Sangoku, Bulma is also the longest-running character, being introduced from the very first episode and chapter of Dragon Ball, and she will retain a prominent role until the end of the Dragon Ball Super series. 📺

So let’s find out more about this flagship female character without further ado! 👩🏻

BULMA CREATION

The original incarnation of Bulma in Dragon Boy, the ancestor of Dragon Ball, was the princess of the land of flowers. 🌸

Bulma - Dragon Ball Z

In Toriyama’s first draft of Dragon Ball, Bulma’s design was very different, giving her the appearance of a Western girl. In the second draft, Bulma had the braided ponytail she had in her first appearance, but was older with a different-style dress.

The third draft gave her the name Pinchi and had exactly the same design as the final draft, but her clothes were slightly altered, with tight black pants with a shirt with exposed shoulders.

APPARENCE OF BULMA

Bulma - Dragon Ball Z

Throughout the series, Bulma has changed her appearance more than any other character in Dragon Ball, going through no less than 18 different hairstyles and outfits! Her hair colors varied according to appearance, often being seen colored: purple, blue or turquoise. Her hair was shoulder-length in her teens. What’s more, we observe that many of the clothes Bulma wears often feature her name or the Capsule Corporation logo. 🔷

Vegeta’s future wife thus had a tender, jovial appearance as a teenager, with milky-colored skin. In her teens, her chest circumference was 85 cm, her waist 58 cm and her hip 84 cm. As an adult, her chest circumference was 87.2 cm before breastfeeding and 83.4 cm after (we thank Japanese fans for noting these details!) 😂

Bulma - Dragon Ball Z

In her first appearance, Bulma had her hair in a braided ponytail with a red ribbon and wore a very short pink dress with her name on it, accompanied by blue sneakers and purple socks.

Due to the wetting of her panties when she was captured by a pterodactyl, her clothes were quickly altered to a pair of boots, grey pants and a blue jacket with a white tank top underneath, her hair remaining unchanged. 🦅

When she attended the 21st World Martial Arts Tournament, she wore a red tank top bearing her name, a white shirt underneath, an orange skirt, yellow socks and purple shoes. Her hair was also in a ponytail with a red ribbon on her head, an outfit she would wear quite often in the series. After the three-year jump, her hair is cut shorter and she wears an open orange sweatshirt, a red shirt underneath, a white skirt, orange socks and blue shoes with orange laces. At the 22nd Tenkaichi Budokai, she wears this same outfit without the orange sweatshirt for part of the King Piccolo saga.

Bulma - Dragon Ball Z

In Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods and at the start of Dragon Ball Super, Bulma wears a sleeveless purple dress and a light green scarf tied around her neck, resembling the outfit she wore at the 25th World Martial Arts Tournament.

She wears red sneakers and small gold earrings, and also retains her bowl haircut from the Boo saga. ✂

In Dragon Ball Z: Fusion, she wears the same outfit as at the 25th World Tournament in the Majin Boo saga, while in Dragon Ball Z: Attack of the Dragon, her red dress and a yellow handkerchief are replaced by a blue dress that resembles her green one.

For Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection of ‘F’ and Dragon Ball Super, Bulma sees herself accustomed to a new outfit including a white t-shirt, red bandana, jeans, cowgirl boots and earrings. She later wears an outfit identical to her future self, but her short-sleeved undershirt is green, her jeans are pale blue and she’s wearing brown flats. While pregnant with her daughter Bra, Bulma wears a pink sleeveless maternity dress with a white long-sleeved shirt, gray leggings and black shoes.

In Dragon Ball Super: Broly, she wears a purple jacket with yellow sleeves, a black bra-like garment, white shorts, yellow sunglasses, blue shoes and nail polish and lipstick.

Bulma - Dragon Ball Z

After the saga Kid Boo, she wears a yellow and black dress with a black leather jacket and brown gloves and black boots and retains her bowl-cut hairstyle from the Majin Buu saga, but with open bangs and now wears gold triangle earrings. In the DBGT saga, Bulma wears a long-sleeved orange dress with white beads, followed by black boots. Interestingly, she’ll keep the same hairstyle and earrings as her until the end of Dragon Ball Z. 💎

Anyway, we’re not going to list all of Bulma’s outfits, but here’s a great overview! But as you’ll have gathered, this character amazes us with her many appearances, and we can feel that the designers have gone to great lengths to make her an emblematic icon of the saga. 💃🏻

BULMA’S PERSONALITY

Bulma - Dragon Ball Z

Her personality was based on the princess from Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Boy series, and her appearance was taken from Plamo, a character from another Toriyama anime called “The Adventures of Tongpoo”, aka Tongpoo.

Bulma has aquirky personality while being very tomboyish and girly at the same time. Although known for her extreme intellect, Bulma is considerably spoiled and vain, using her great beauty as an excuse to justify her selfish behavior. Her selfishness even prevented her from riding the Magic Cloud. Under stressful conditions, she easily becomes frightened and angry with everyone, including her allies. Bulma tends to worry a lot about her hygiene, complaining frequently when circumstances prevent her from taking a bubble bath or stocking up on beauty products, even when her hygiene is the least of her worries, as when she’s stranded in the wild. 🌲

But despite her temperament, Bulma is often kind and helpful to others. She tends to approach major situations rationally, often making crucial decisions on her own, and tends to be very persistent in achieving her goals. As she becomes more mature, Bulma focuses on becoming a great scientist and helps by creating and correcting inventions that will later help the Z-Fighters team and her family in the Dragonball series. She shows herself to be very witty, usually teasing her friends, as well as being happy and easy-going. 😍

Bulma loves strawberries, attractive boys and bubble baths. While facing certain social dilemmas, Bulma sometimes has to deal with using her sex appeal to get what she wants. Although she shows a strong aversion to perverted men, she also fell in love with Yamcha, with whom she claimed she was in love and with whom she intended to marry. However, she lost interest in him due to his lack of commitment to her and became more committed to her relationship with Vegeta. 💑

BULMA’S PERSONALITY

Bulma - Dragon Ball Z
Her personality was based on the princess from Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Boy series, and her appearance was inspired by Plamo, a character from another Toriyama anime called “The Adventures of Tongpoo”, aka Tongpoo.

Bulma has a whimsical personality, yet is very tomboyish and feminine at the same time. Although she’s known for her exceptional intellect, Bulma is also very spoiled and vain, using her great beauty as an excuse to justify her selfish behavior. Her selfishness has even prevented her from ascending the Magic Cloud. In stressful situations, she easily becomes frightened and angry with everyone, including her allies. Bulma tends to worry a lot about her hygiene, frequently complaining when circumstances prevent her from taking a bubble bath or getting beauty products, even if her hygiene isn’t her priority, as when she’s stuck in the wild. 🌲

Despite everything, Bulma shows kindness and helpfulness to others. She often approaches important situations rationally, often making crucial decisions on her own, and is very persistent in achieving her goals. Growing up, Bulma focuses on her goal of becoming a great scientist, helping the Z-Fighters team and her family by creating and repairing inventions. She proves to be a cheerful, easy-going person, usually teasing her friends. 😍

Bulma loves strawberries, pretty boys and bubble baths. Faced with certain social dilemmas, she sometimes has to use her sex appeal to get what she wants. Although she shows an aversion to perverted men, she fell in love with Yamcha, with whom she intended to marry. However, she lost interest in him due to his lack of commitment and became more involved in her relationship with Vegeta. 💑

Despite initial difficulties and their quarrelsome nature, Bulma enjoys a unique relationship with the Saiyan Prince, which gets better and better after their marriage. Bulma often takes control of Vegeta and frequently reprimands him for his rude behavior, but she enjoys teasing him. Although they often quarrel and despite the fact that he was once an enemy of the Z-Warriors, Bulma is deeply devoted to Vegeta and loves him sincerely. After becoming a mother (first Trunks, then Bra), Bulma shows great love for her children, even though she was somewhat irresponsible in taking Trunks to the Android battlefield as a baby, a mistake she later learned from.

As she grows older, Bulma shows a certain irritation towards her fellow Z-Fighters, who constantly rely on the Dragon Balls to bring people back to life in the face of a threat. This irritation reaches a critical point when Piccolo, Goten and Trunks are locked in the hyperbolic time chamber during their battle with Super Buu. Bulma reminds them that they’re counting on the Dragon Balls to resurrect Goten and Trunks if they’re killed, pointing out that they’re still children (she also refers to the rest of the Z-Fighters as “cowards” in the Japanese dub).

Although she’s not a fighter, Bulma can be violent when angry, and will defend herself if necessary. Many characters, such as Krilin, Gohan, Goku and even Vegeta to some extent, fear her violent temper. When it appeared that Freezer had been destroyed by the Great Spirit Bomb, Krilin panicked when he remembered that they had left Bulma alone on Namek, even suggesting that an angry Bulma was more terrifying than Freezer himself. Later, Goku panicked when he realized he’d forgotten Bulma’s birthday, even suggesting that she might be more terrifying than Beerus. Moreover, Vegeta adamantly refused to train with Goku during Bulma’s pregnancy for fear that she would never forgive him, although it’s more likely that Vegeta wanted to be there for Bulma during this uncertain time.

Although she possesses noble qualities, Bulma places too much importance on her appearance, which perhaps explains why the Magic Cloud doesn’t allow her to sit on it. As she grew older, she became paranoid about losing her beauty and even collected the Crystal Balls to look 5 years younger. In Dragon Ball Super: Broly, she had already collected 6 of the 7 balls. This implies she’s done it many times before.

She even angrily slapped the god of destruction Beerus for ruining her party (but this was partly due to her belief that Beerus was a friend of her husband). Fortunately, Beerus responded by simply slapping her on the back, prompting Vegeta to angrily attack the celestial cat in defense of his wife. Over time, even Beerus came to fear her temper and often tries to avoid saying anything that would anger her.

When she finally comes face to face with Freezer after his resurrection, Bulma bravely confronts the tyrant, even going so far as to speak rudely to him. However, her confidence and courage are based on her belief that Gohan and the other Z-Fighters are stronger than Freezer, which is quickly disproved when Gohan and Piccolo point out that Freezer has become much stronger than before.

One of Bulma’s most interesting relationships is her friendship with Goku, whom she has known for most of her life and who has become her first and one of her closest friends. At first, she expressed her frustration and annoyance at Goku’s lack of hygiene, manners and knowledge of the world, and saw him only as a kind of protection whenever they encountered serious problems in their search for the Dragon Balls.

But soon Bulma became a caring friend to Goku, and their relationship resembled that of an older sister and younger brother. Growing up together, Bulma always helped Goku when he needed it, and often worried for him when challenges seemed insurmountable or he risked his life. For his part, Goku often feared Bulma’s temper and obeyed her. Even as an adult, Bulma remains on good terms with Goku, although she expresses irritation at his propensity for fighting and not taking things seriously enough. Despite this, Bulma’s faith and trust in Goku is absolute, and she often trusts him more than her own husband, Vegeta, in battles against Majin Boo, Goku Black and Zamasu.

Bulma’s companionship with Goku also extends to her family. She is good friends with Chi-Chi and shows great affection for her sons, Gohan and Goten.

Jaco the Galactic Patroller:
In the year 739, ten years before the events of the Emperor Pilaf saga, Bulma, then only five years old, visits her family on the island of Omori. There, she helps repair Jaco’s spaceship without anyone knowing. This demonstrates her intelligence, which impresses Jaco and Omori. Bulma is always accompanied by her self-designed laser pistol, and she tells everyone that she made it to defend herself, because she thought Jaco was actually an evil alien.

Ten years later, Bulma is a graduate of West Cit College. Bored by the monotony of her life in the city, she sets off in search of the Dragon Balls, believing that they have the power to grant the desires of those who find them.

Saga of Emperor Pilaf:
At the age of 16, Bulma finds her first two-star Crystal Ball in her basement. She creates the Dragon Radar to find the other Dragon Balls so she can wish for a lifetime supply of strawberries. However, she later changes her mind and decides instead to wish for the perfect boyfriend. During her summer vacations, she embarks on a quest for the other mystical balls and finds the five-star Crystal Ball in the North Valley.

Nine days later, she travels to Mount Paozu to find the next ball, but accidentally hits a young boy named Goku with her car. Bulma is the first girl Goku has ever seen, and he considers Bulma his second human contact after his deceased guardian and “grandfather” Gohan. After Goku takes her home, Bulma discovers that Goku possesses another crystal ball (the fourth) and explains to her the legend and power of the Dragon Balls. After failing to seduce Goku to obtain his ball, she decides to become his traveling partner, although she deliberately omits to tell him that the Dragon Balls disperse after the wish has been granted.

Later, when they camp in a Capsule House in Skull Valley, Bulma exposes Goku to many elements of civilization he was deprived of, such as technology and bathing, and even female anatomy (by accident). The next morning, Goku finds a lost sea turtle and decides to bring it back to the beach, to which Bulma reluctantly agrees, as she doesn’t want to be left alone and defenseless. They then meet Master Roshi, who gives Goku the Magic Cloud as a reward for his deed.

Bulma, after catching a glimpse of Genius Turtle’s three-star Crystal Ball, manages to obtain it inexchange for revealing her panties. However, she later realizes that her underwear is missing and becomes angry when Goku admits to having kept them (after explaining to her what panties are). As they continue their journey, Bulma will try to use the magic cloud, but will be rejected as she is not pure of heart. ☁

Three days later, Bulma and Goku will arrive in the village of Aru, under the control of a shapeshifter called Oolong, who has kidnapped the villagers’ young daughters. Bulma will receive the Six-Star Crystal Ball from an old village lady as a reward for herplan to defeat Oolong with Goku’s help. Bulma will force Oolong to accompany them on their journey, as his shapeshifting ability could prove useful. The journey becomes difficult when they reach Diablo’s desert and lose their capsules after crossing a river on a boat. In the desert, she’ll meet Yamcha, for whom she’ll have a soft spot. 😍

After spending the night in Oolong’s Vagon-House, she’ll be forced to wear a bunny suit as it was the only clean garment she had. Two days later, the Z Fighters team will arrive at Fire Mountain to find the next Dragon Ball before Gyumao finds it. Bulma and Oolong narrowly escape the King Ox Demon who wants to kill them, but are saved when Goku reveals that he knows Master Roshi. 👂🏻

Bulma will obtain the seven-star Dragon Ball when Goku, accompanied by the Ox-King’s daughter Chi-Chi, retrieves Master Roshi to extinguish the flames on Fire Mountain. Unfortunately for Bulma, she’ll let Master Roshi touch her breasts in return. Bulma will ask Oolong to take her place in this form, but she’ll get angry when he goes too far and exposes her breasts too. 👀

As they head towards the last dragon ball to be obtained, they’ll stop off in a town for supplies. There, Bulma will be mistaken for a member of the Rabbit Mob as she will still be wearing the rabbit costume Oolong had given her. She will then desperately search for new clothes. After Goku defeats two members of the mob, they will call their leader, Toninjinka, who will turn Bulma into a carrot after physical contact with her. Goku will then receive help from Yamcha and Puar (who have been secretly following them the whole time) to defeat Monster Carrot and return Bulma to her human appearance. 🥕

The group will resume their quest to find the last Dragon Ball, which is in the possession of Emperor Pilaf, eager to use them for world domination. Bulma and the others will travel to Pilaf’s castle with Yamcha and Puar, as their previous vehicle was destroyed by Pilaf’s servant Shu, who also stole five of their Dragon Balls.

During their journey, Bulma will get closer to Yamcha. Once they arrive at Pilaf’s castle, the group will be trapped in a room where Pilaf will grab the last ball Goku was hiding. Fortunately, Oolong will save the world by preventing Pilaf from getting his wish by making a wish for panties, just a split second before Pilaf asks for world domination. Bulma and the others manage to escape when Goku looks at the Full Moon and transforms into the great ape Oozaru. The next morning, Bulma will be disappointed not to have gotten her wish, but will decide to strengthen her relationship with Yamcha and return home to West City.

TOURNAMENTSAGA

Bulma - Dragon Ball Z
After preventing Pilaf from conquering the world, Bulma, Yamcha, Oolong and Puar decide to return to West City while Goku trains with Master Roshi. On the way back, their plane crashes in a jungle and they are forced to continue on foot. Back in West City, Bulma and Yamcha start dating. She supports him while he trains intensely in a dojo for the next world martial arts tournament. 🥋

Meanwhile, Bulma decides to visit Goku at the Turtle House, but discovers that the house has been moved elsewhere. Bulma goes mad when Yamcha leaves West City to train in the wild. A month later, on her way home from shopping, Bulma narrowly escapes a truck accident thanks to Yamcha’s unexpected return to save her. Bulma is disappointed by his prolonged absence and lack of communication. She then takes Yamcha home and has him cleaned up. 🚿

When Bulma arrives at Papaya Island to attend the tournament, she finds Goku and Master Roshi signing up. During the qualifiers, Bulma uses Oolong to help her get good eyesight so she can follow Yamcha’s fights.

When the tournament begins, she even manages to secure a place in the first rank! As Goku stands out in the tournament, Bulma proudly takes credit for discovering him. 🤩

After Goku loses in the final round to Jackie Chun (who turns out to be Turtle Genius in disguise), Bulma and the rest of the group have dinner and begin to head home, only to find themselves stranded once again in the desert when Yamcha’s car breaks down and takes them to theWorld Martial Arts Tournament arena.

SAGA OF THE RED RIBBON ARMY

At this point in the series, Bulma returns to West City and continues her studies at the high school. She’s beginning to dislike Yamcha because of his popularity with the other women. Goku meets her outside his home, at the Capsule Corporation, to ask her to repair the radar Dragon that broke during their previous adventures. Bored with her life in West City, she decides tojoin Goku and go in search of the Dragon Balls once more. 🔮

Before Goku arrives, she has made a new device, the Micro Band, which allows her to shrink and travel with him in his shirt when he’s on the Magic Cloud. Before leaving, Bulma decides to show Goku around town. 🏙

While exploring the city, Goku and Bulma meet Yamcha, Oolong and Puar, who decide to accompany them to Dream Land. At Dream Land, Bulma will be in a bad mood due to her argument with Yamcha and decides to take a walk alone. When she tries to apologize to him, she sees Yamcha holding another woman. However, Yamcha was actually trying to disarm Husky, a professional thief. Angry at Yamcha for his “betrayal”, Bulma hits him with a pot, knocking him out and allowing Husky to escape. After Goku captures Hasky, Bulma officially breaks up with Yamcha and sets off with Goku in search of the Dragon Balls.

Bulma and Goku end up flying to an island near the crystal ball in the ocean. Bulma will discover that she doesn’t have an underwater capsule with her, so Goku will dive to search for the ball underwater, leaving Bulma on the island. Bulma wanders around the island, unaware that it’s a Red Ribbon Army base.

As she explores the island, she will be spotted by two soldiers who will be drawn to her. She will run away, angering them. The soldiers then board their planes and fire at Bulma, but Goku arrives just in time to defeat the soldiers and save her.

Seeing that the crystal ball is buried very deep underwater, they will go to the Turtle House to see Master Roshi and get a submarine in exchange for the Micro Band (for perverse reasons on Roshi’s part). As they head for the ocean, Krilin will decide to accompany them. 💪🏻

As they explore the ocean, they will be chased by General Blue’s submarine into a pirate cave that houses hidden treasure. As they continue to progress through the cave, Bulma comes face to face with apirate robot. In the fight, Bulma and Krilin go forward, leaving Goku to battle the robot. Once they reach the end of the corridor, they’ll have to undress and swim to continue on their way. When Bulma and Krilin discover a room full of treasures, they come face to face with General Blue. 🏴‍☠️

Bulma will then attempt to seduce General Blue with her body, but to no avail, as he is not interested in women. After Goku defeats him, Bulma and Krilin manage to escape from the collapsing cave, while Goku quickly recovers the Crystal Ball. 🔮

Later in Dragon Ball history, due to her status as a main character, Bulma will of course appear in all the other sagas, such as :

  • Saga of Uranai Baba
  • Saga of Ten Shin Han
  • Saga of King Piccolo
  • Saga of Piccolo Jr

BULMA IN DRAGON BALL Z

SAGA SAIYAN

After exactly 5 years of peace on Earth, Goku will take advantage of an outing to introduce Bulma, Krilin and Genie Turtle to his new child conceived with Chi-Chi, Gohan. Next, we discover Sangoku’s brother Raditz, who arrives on Earth to find out why his brother has failed to exterminate the human race. Bulma will then witness Gohan’s abduction by Goku’s evil brother. 👀

These events will mark the beginning of an eponymous saga, and Goku and Piccolo will cunningly ally to succeed in defeating Raditz. Next, Bulma succeeds in repairing the Scouter, the device used to measure a warrior’s level of power. Two years later, two new Saiyans, Vegeta and Nappa, arrive on Earth. Yamcha is killed by one of the Saiyans, and Bulma witnesses the tragedy once again. The fortune-teller Baba allows humans to follow the battle through her crystal ball. Bulma will then have the opportunity to use the Scouter to measure Goku’s power level, so high that he will break the device. 💥

SAGA FREEZER

At the start of the saga of one of Dragon Ball’s most iconic villains, Bulma decides to travel to Piccolo and Kami Sama’s home planet, Namek. Her goal is to gather the Namekian Crystal Balls and resurrect the many Earth defenders who succumbed in the great battle against Vegeta and Nappa. She will attempt to use the remote control of the two villains’ spaceship, but instead of stealing it, it will automatically self-destruct. 🚀

She’ll then find herself with Mr. Popo, who will help her spot a large ship by accompanying her on his magic carpet. It turns out that the craft was the vessel Kami used to escape from planet Namek back in the day.

Realizing that it had quite impressive speed, she wastes no time in repairing it with her father, Dr. Brief, at the Capsule Corporation. 🔧

She would go on to have many other adventures linked to the main ones in other parts of Dragon Ball Z, while remaining a character considered main in :

  • Android Saga
  • Cell Saga
  • Great Saiyaman Saga
  • Saga of the World Tournaments
  • Saga Majin Boo

BULMA IN DRAGON BALL SUPER

SAGA GOD OF DESTRUCTION

Several years after the battle between the Z-Fighters and Majin Boo, Bulma will be happy to see that Vegeta decides to spend more time with his family instead of constantly training. This will bring Bulma, Bra, Trunks and him a little closer together. She will also point out to her husband that he has changed for the better since his confrontation with Buu, which will annoy him a little and push him to resume training. Despite this, she will be grateful to him for giving her family a little more time for a short time. 👨‍👨‍👧‍👦

Next, Bulma organizes a big party on a cruise ship. She’ll be upset when Beerus devours the entire buffet. She will also be very angry when she learns from Son Gohan that Vegeta and Goku are still training. When Beerus and Whis arrive, Bulma introduces them to the guests. But she is soon shocked when the god of destruction points his finger at Vegeta in an attempt to kill him. She steps between the two, receiving a slap in the face from Beerus. Stunned, Vegeta becomes angry and condemns the gesture. 🤚🏻

When Goku arrives, she asks him to fight Beerus immediately, shocked by his explanation that Beerus is a god of destruction, which in theory makes him far more powerful than any of the other guests. Shenron is then summoned and Bulma observes his fanatical behavior towards Beerus, finding it surprising. Afterwards, she dialogues with Vegeta to understand why she didn’t know about the Super Saiyan God and how to attain this form. 🔥

Bulma will encourage Goku after his mastery of the transformation to rival Beerus. Fortunately for the Earthlings, the God of Destruction will ultimately not destroy Earth and will leave the planet. Bulma will remain dissatisfied with Vegeta because of the Super Saiyan God challenge he failed to overcome. 🌍

ANECDOTES ABOUT BULMA

  • Bulma was originally a parody of a character from Journey to the West (as was Goku). She was adapted from Xuanzang (also known as Tripitaka). As in the original novel, she leads the group of five made up of herself, Goku, Oolong, Yamcha and Puar in search of the Dragon Balls. Although Xuanzang is a man, Bulma, as a woman, follows a path in Chinese opera where the role is played by an actress.
  • Bulma was revealed a month before the debut of the Dragon Ball manga, in postcards sent to members of the “Akira Toriyama Preservation Society”.
  • Bulma’s name is an allusion to underwear, specifically modern bloomers.
  • Contrary to popular belief, Bulma has no surname, Brief being her father’s first name. This will be supported in the manga, calling her “Dr. Bulma” in Dragon Ball Super.
  • Bulma is the female character most often seen in the Dragon Ball series. She is the source of most fan cosplays and fanart as she is often exposed in sexually suggestive ways in many situations, most of which take place during Dragon Ball.
  • Bulma’s hobby is inventing new gadgets.
  • Bulma’s favorite food is strawberries.
  • Originally, her wish with the Crystal Balls was to have a lifetime supply.
  • His citizen number is SSC 41453, and his blood type is B.
  • Bulma’s bra measurements at the start of Dragon Ball are 34C.
